Let’s start with what’s already working.
Come as you are, and we’ll find the next small step together.

About Eve
Hi, I’m Eve, a strength amplifier.
Originally from China, I came to New Zealand at seventeen. I’m a daughter, a sister, a wife and a mum, and that mixed background means I’m used to holding more than one perspective at once.
I studied Health Sciences at UC and spent five years in public health running healthy lifestyle programmes before my son arrived. That holistic view never left me: I look at the whole life, not just a part of it.
In 2025, I started training in solution-focused counselling because I believe therapy should move you toward the future you want. Knowing what’s going well matters more than cataloguing what’s going wrong.
Come and meet meHow I work
Brief, warm, and pointed at what’s next.
Every session is complete in itself. We work at your pace, and I’m not planning to keep you in therapy forever. I’ll be here when you need me.
You set the pace
We go at the speed that feels manageable. Nothing gets prised open before you’re ready.
Each session stands alone
You’ll leave with something usable every time, whether you come once or six times.
We look for what’s working
The times it already goes well hold most of the answer, so we start there.

Moving towards your preferred future
You’ll have some picture of how you’d like things to feel between you. That’s what we work toward. Tap a card to see where we might start.

How I’ll hold the room
Three things I bring to every session.
Solution-focused
We spend our time on the future you’d prefer, and on the moments it already goes well.
Strengths amplified
You already have skills that work. My job is to notice them out loud until you can use them on purpose.
A whole-life view
Sleep, work, family, culture. Years in public health taught me the relationship never sits on its own.
Good questions
Things people ask before booking.
Do I need to know what’s wrong first?
No. Plenty of people arrive with a vague sense that something could be better. That’s a perfectly good place to start, and we’ll work it out between us.
How many sessions will we need?
Fewer than you might think. Each session is designed to stand on its own, and I’ll say so when I think you’re good to go. I’m not here to keep you in therapy forever.
Do we both have to come?
Yes, for couples work I need you both in the room. It’s the two of you I’m working with, not one version of the story.
Can we have sessions in Mandarin?
Yes. 我可以用普通话为你提供咨询. You’re welcome to switch between languages mid-session too; a lot of people do.
What actually happens in the first session?
We talk. I’ll ask what you’d like to be different, and what’s already working even a little. You’ll leave with something concrete, not just a debrief.
This is your space to find hope.
